Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. is seeking a Fragrance Assistant to join the team in Montvale, NJ on a 1-year contract, onsite. The role focuses on sales coordination for fragrance and flavors, with emphasis on project management and sensory evaluation.

You will support fragrance development, coordinate timelines with global teams, and conduct evaluations to support product development and validation, while ensuring GLP/GMP documentation and supplier management are in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree (or equivalent experience) in Chemistry or another scientific discipline.
• Sales or Marketing Coordination in New Product Development experience and project management in an R&D environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; Excellent communication; Able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support fragrance development projects across home fragrance products with cross-functional teams.
• Lead fragrance sampling programs and coordinate timelines with R&D, Marketing, suppliers and fragrance partners.
• Train: conduct fragrance evaluations, sensory assessments, and performance testing for product development.
• Manage multiple projects and external suppliers with GLP/GMP documentation and compliance.
• Provide technical fragrance expertise and contribute to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Our client, in fragrance consumer goodsis seeking a Fragrance Assistantto join their team. The ideal candidate will have sales coordinationfrom fragrance & flavors teams and strong olfactory ("sense of smell") abilities and/or an interest in fragrance evaluation, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fragrance Assistant

Location: Montvale, NJ (Onsite)

Contract: 1 Year (extension possible)

Pay Range: $33- $43 hourly

What’s the Job?

• Support fragrance development projects across a portfolio of home fragrance products, partnering with cross-functional global teams.
• Lead fragrance sampling programs and coordinate project timelines with R&D, Marketing, suppliers, and fragrance partners.
• Can Train: Conduct fragrance evaluations, sensory assessments, and performance testing to support product development and validation.
• Manage multiple projects and external suppliers while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with GLP/GMP practices.
• Provide technical fragrance expertise, including ownership of key product formats, while contributing to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor Degree (or equivalent experience) in Chemistry or another scientific discipline
• Required: Sales or Marketing Coordination in New Product Development experience and project management (working with sales and marketing)in an R&D environment.
• Required: Strong organizational and project management skills; Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; Excellent communication skills; Comfortable working independently with limited day-to-day supervision.
• Helpful, but not required: Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and/or GMP
• Preferred experiencein fragrance, flavor, or another related sensory industry: Fragrance, Flavor, Home Care, Personal Care, Consumer Products
