Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a Delivery Driver and Warehouse employee responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering automotive glass on a designated route, ensuring safe handling and timely deliveries, while providing excellent customer service.

Must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely; health and safety compliance; able to lift up to 75 pounds; overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; DOT certification may be required for some vehicles.
• Delivery driving experience preferred, especially handling fragile materials.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading, securing, and delivering products.
• Basic computer skills for route navigation and delivery records.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety procedures and workplace regulations.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport automotive glass and related materials safely.
• Deliver glass products to customers on an assigned route, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Unload and assist customers with deliveries, ensuring products arrive undamaged.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including invoices and proof of delivery documents.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory checks and material organization.
• Follow proper handling and safety protocols to prevent product damage and ensure workplace safety.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, dispatch, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
