Job summary

PGW Auto Glass is hiring a Delivery Driver and Warehouse employee responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering automotive glass on a designated route. The role emphasizes safe handling of fragile glass, timely deliveries, and excellent customer service.

Candidates should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate delivery vehicles safely in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; Medical DOT certification may be required to operate certain vehicles.
• Delivery experience handling fragile materials is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport automotive glass safely.
• Deliver glass products on assigned route with accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and policies.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Unload deliveries and assist customers without damage.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and POD documents.
• Assist in warehouse operations and inventory checks as needed.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent damage and injuries.
• Communicate with warehouse, dispatch, and customers for smooth operations.
