Job summary

Phase 3 Marketing and Communications in Atlanta seeks a Fractional Media Director to drive senior-level media strategy across paid social, search, programmatic, and retail media for a mix of B2B and B2C clients. This is a fractional engagement with flexible hours.

This hands-on leadership role blends high-level strategy, client counsel and team mentorship. It requires 4–5 hours weekly, with 20 hours per month, remote work with in-person Phase 3 meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive media experience in an advertising/media environment.
• Hands-on experience with Google, Meta, and LinkedIn platforms.
• Previous senior leadership in media (Director/VP/Head) roles.
• Integrated media strategy across multiple channels and platforms.
• Strong knowledge of audience strategy, planning, measurement and analytics.
• Experience managing large media investments and client relationships.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop media professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior strategic oversight across all major media channels for client programs.
• Lead client relationships as Phase 3’s senior media advisor.
• Guide planning and budgeting aligned with client objectives and KPIs.
• Evaluate channel mix, investment levels and testing opportunities.
• Translate performance data into actionable recommendations for clients.
• Lead and participate in strategic planning sessions and client meetings.
• Mentor internal media team and external resources.
