Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of Development (Fractional) for a nationally recognized, mission-driven nonprofit organization advancing research, education, and patient advocacy within the healthcare sector. This is a remote, part-time contractual position (10–12 hours/week) with occasional travel as needed.
The Director of Development will provide strategic fundraising leadership to strengthen and expand a growing national nonprofit’s revenue streams. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role will design and guide a comprehensive development strategy with a focus on corporate partnerships, major gifts, and grant funding. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned fundraising professional seeking flexible, high-impact work in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.
This fractional contractual role offers competitive compensation at $50 per hour, with opportunity for renewal and potential rate increase based on organizational growth and mutual agreement. The position provides a flexible 10–12 hour per week schedule in a fully remote work environment that supports autonomy and work-life balance. Occasional travel may be supported as needed.
