Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Controller within public or private accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, SAP, or Oracle.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Advanced Excel.
• Consulting or project-based accounting experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports for leadership review.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management initiatives.
• Streamline accounting processes and implement system or procedural improvements.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely financial deliverables.
• Provide interim leadership or support during transitions, system implementations, or staffing changes.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and establish best practices across accounting functions.
• Manage project-based or fractional engagements focused on stabilizing and improving financial operations.
