Specialized Clinical Development Recruiter - Contract and Consulting

Overview:

Our client, an innovative biotech company based in Texas, is seeking an experienced Fractional Chief Medical Officer (CMO) on a part-time, contract basis to provide strategic leadership in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. This fully remote position offers 10 hours per week over a 6-month period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee clinical development and research strategies focused on autoimmune and inflammatory diseases
  • Guide clinical development planning, including strategy development and revisions
  • Manage and supervise the IND process from start to finish
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and external stakeholders, including boards, to present clinical findings and strategies
  • Support and advise on the clinical development of new treatments for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases

Qualifications:

  • MD/PhD (Board Certification in Rheumatology preferred)
  • Significant experience in clinical development and research, particularly in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases
  • Experience in small biotech or startup environments
  • Proven track record in clinical development planning and strategy
  • Experience overseeing the IND process
  • Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
