Role Overview:

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for shaping the financial strategy and driving the company's growth. You will oversee the company's financial operations, ensure sound financial practices, and provide the CEO with strategic insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that align with the company's vision, mission, and growth objectives.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the preparation of accurate and detailed annual budgets, as well as quarterly and monthly financial forecasts.
• Financial Reporting & Transparency: Oversee the preparation of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) in compliance with accounting standards.
• Cash Flow & Financial Operations: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company's day-to-day operations run smoothly.
• Investor Relations & Fundraising: Manage relationships with current and potential investors, keeping them informed of financial performance and business development progress.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Performance Metrics & KPIs: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial health, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Team Management & Development: Build and lead the finance team, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Cost Optimization & Financial Efficiency: Drive cost optimization initiatives without sacrificing quality or innovation.
• Strategic Partnerships & Financial Negotiations: Negotiate and manage financial relationships with key stakeholders.
• Tax Strategy & Planning: Oversee tax planning, compliance, and filings.
• Treasury Management: Manage the company's banking relationships and capital structure.
• Business Analytics & Insights: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement business analytics frameworks.
• Financial Systems & Process Improvement: Evaluate and implement financial systems that enhance efficiency.
• Long-Term Financial Planning & Exit Strategy: Develop long-term financial models to support business expansion.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or in a senior financial leadership role.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
• Financial Expertise: Deep understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Fundraising & Investor Relations: Demonstrated success in managing investor relations and preparing fundraising materials.
• Strategic Financial Leadership: Ability to provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive team.
• Startup & High-Growth Experience: A track record of success in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Proven ability to identify financial risks and ensure compliance.
• Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Team Management & Development: Experience building and leading finance teams.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite).
• Adaptability & Resourcefulness: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
