Job summary

FuelCo Energy LLC (ALL LOCATIONS) seeks a Frac Tech to support onsite fueling operations at customer frac sites. You will assist Frac Fuel Drivers and Wholesale Transport Drivers in fueling activities and ensure efficient equipment transfer.

Responsibilities include safety-minded inspections, fuel transfer to pumps and generators, and basic vehicle maintenance while coordinating with dispatch and customers to meet tight schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• Valid/current state driver’s license.
• Clean MVR with minimal violations.
• Able to work night shifts.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and FCE.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections.
• Transfer fuel to frac equipment (pumps, blenders, generators, data van, etc.).
• Operate and perform minor maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Load and unload; hook up hoses and manage hoses safely.
• Maintain awareness to anticipate issues and follow safety procedures.

**Frac Techs are dispatched to various locations based on our client’s fracking schedule. Our Frac Techs “follow the frac work”. These locations include West Texas, South Texas and occasionally other states. Frac Techs must be flexible to work in various locations.

JOB SUMMARY

Frac Tech’s, play a vital role in ensuring our customers have the finest quality fuel available. As a Frac Tech, you will be responsible for assisting Frac Fuel Drivers and Wholesale Transport Drivers in the onsite fueling operations on our customer’s frac locations.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Proper pre and post trip truck inspections
• Transfer fuel to various frac equipment to include; pumps, blenders, generators, data van, light plant, etc.
• Operate and perform minor maintenance on vehicles and various other types of equipment
• Properly load and unload; hauling, hooking and unhooking hoses
• Observing his/her work carefully in order to anticipate the problems early and adopting safety measures like using safety mechanisms while working
• Accurately complete driver logs, pre and post trip forms, invoices and other paperwork as required
• Courteously work with bosses, dispatchers, fellow employees and customers

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum age of hire is 21 years old
• Required – valid/current state issued driver’s license
• Minimal driving violations (MVR Reporting)
• Ability to work at night – NO DAY SHIFT GUARANTEE
• Pass company issued pre-employment drug screen & FCE (Functional Capacity Exam)
• Meet regulations and limitations regarding total weight rated equipment and safety devices
  • In order to limit the maximum arresting force on the employee to 1,800 pounds and bring the employee to a complete stop while limiting the maximum deceleration distance the employee travels to 3.5 feet, all employees being considered for field-level positions shall have a combined body and tool weight of less than 310 pounds (140kg.).

ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Must have the ability to speak, read and write English
• Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
• The ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat and climb, as necessary to perform vehicle inspections required under 49 CFR Sections 396.11-15 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Must be able to lift without assistance up to 75 pounds, pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time without much movement
• Ability to work in time-sensitive environments with non-flexible deadlines

POSITION DETAILS

• Rotation – Estimated 21/7 (NO GUARANTEE FOR DAYS WORKED OR DAYS OFF) – NO DAY SHIFT GUARANTEE – Must be able to work nights
  • Company Housing – While on working rotation
• Paid Per Hour – Overtime pay accrued after 40 hours
  • Shift starts and work commences upon the arrival and departure from the offsite work location
• Hourly Rate Dependent On: Experience, Rotation, Location
