Job summary

OmniTRAX, Inc. is seeking a Transload Operator to safely load and unload frac sand between truck, rail and silo at our Camden facility, supporting safety, quality and efficiency goals while upholding the company values of safety, honesty, ownership, respect and teamwork.

You will operate equipment such as rail car movers, maintain records, follow procedures, and help keep the site clean and compliant. A valid driver’s license is required and some shift work or travel within 20 miles may be

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior experience operating forklifts.
• Operate machinery and perform basic mechanical service and repairs.
• Understand and comply with procedures pertaining to emergencies.
• Work cooperatively with superiors and other employees.
• Focused and detail oriented: complete quality work timely.
• Self-motivated; carry out tasks independently to meet deadlines and company/customer expectations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Write legibly to complete routine reports and other work documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; effectively communicate with all level of employees and business associates in a clear, concise and professional manner.
• Produce effective verbal and/or written daily reports for both internal and external use.
• Read, comprehend and comply with published rules, procedures and manuals, inspection checklists, government regulation, operating and maintenance instructions, memos and other work-related information.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload frac sand between truck, rail and silo.
• Operate equipment such as rail car movers and other facility gear.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment; perform routine maintenance.
• Report verbally and in writing; maintain accurate records.
• Direct trucks to loading areas; operate truck scales and prepare Bills of Ladings.
• Follow all company and facility policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Participate in keeping the facility and equipment clean and maintained.
• Monitor third parties performing work at the facility.
• Recommend changes to improve safety and efficiency.
