Frac Pump Design Engineer
Full Time Houston, TX, US
This Frac Pump Design Engineer offers hands‑on ownership of fluid‑end and power‑end development, working from concept through validation and field performance. If you have designed high‑pressure plunger pumps inside an OEM environment and want greater technical ownership over the product platform, this is worth a conversation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the engineering strategy and technology roadmap for American Jereh’s fracturing, power generation, and well service equipment, aligning with corporate ESG and growth objectives.
- Lead the full product lifecycle for capital equipment (concept, design, analysis, prototyping, testing, certification, production support, and upgrades) ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
- Drive innovation in mechanical, electrical, controls, and digital systems to enhance reliability, efficiency, and emissions performance of electric and turbine frac fleets and mobile power solutions.
- Establish and continuously improve engineering processes, standards, and tools, including design reviews, risk assessments, configuration management, and documentation control.
- Partner closely with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and service teams in Houston and other sites to optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, quality, and maintainability.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes and standards for oilfield and pressure equipment, as well as customer and regulatory requirements in North American and international markets.
- Provide senior technical oversight for major bids, key customer projects, and critical field issues, including root cause analysis and reliability improvement programs.
- Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing, multinational engineering team; define organizational structure, staffing plans, and competency development aligned with American Jereh’s growth.
- Own the engineering budget (people, labs, test assets, tools) and portfolio governance, prioritizing projects that maximize customer value and business impact.
- Represent American Jereh engineering with strategic customers, technology partners, and internal global stakeholders, reinforcing a culture of “focus on customer needs” and “continuous improvement to be the best.”
