Job summary

Tyndale Company, Inc. is seeking a friendly Retail Associate to join our store team. You will help customers shop, recommend FR and everyday apparel, process purchases, and keep the store organized for a great shopping experience.

This role requires at least 1 year in retail or customer service and strong interpersonal skills. You will support opening/closing duties and stock management in a busy FR-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or customer service experience.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn products and make recommendations based on customer needs.
• Ability to handle cash and credit transactions and follow cash-control procedures.
• Ability to use POS systems and learn retail software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their needs to help select FR and non-FR products.
• Provide knowledgeable product recommendations and upsell when appropriate.
• Process purchases accurately using POS and payment systems.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and stocked; maintain displays.
• Receive shipments, stock shelves, and manage inventory to ensure product availability.
• Follow store procedures for safety, loss prevention, and cash handling.
• Assist with opening and closing store tasks and team communication.
