Position Overview:

This role involves inspecting and approving finished products by verifying specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and standards. The inspector will perform various inspection duties, maintain inspection logs, and ensure a safe work environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections on aircraft components to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.
• Use measuring tools for mechanical measurements and review reworked items.
• Describe nonconformance situations and assist in resolution.
• Understand drawings and perform receiving, in-process, and non-destructive testing inspections.
• Assist in higher-level inspections as needed.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports.
• Follow safety standards and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Good manual dexterity and physical ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Ability to work in moist environments and perform repetitive tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Understanding of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing and basic math skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. person due to Department of Defense contracting requirements.
• No visa sponsorship available.
