Job summary

NES Fircroft, on behalf of a major Oil & Gas Operator, is recruiting for an H3SE professional for the Venus FPSO project in Namibia. You will promote H3SE in the project and provide H3SE advice to the Project Management and team, ensuring alignment with TotalEnergies and TEPNA policies and international standards.

  • Track changes related to H3SE regulations, standards, Company rules and inform the package Manager of their impact on the Package H3SE management system.
  • Monitor and record H3SE activities of the package, assist Package Manager in presentations and preparation of reports.
  • Define H3SE training plan for different phases of the EPSCC and ensure its implementation.
  • Organize H3SE Package risk management reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, SPOT) and update H3SE Package risk register.
  • Identify and manage all necessary H3SE studies (performed by TotalEnergies, TEPNA or third parties).
  • Define, develop or have developed the whole Safety Concept for the Package in close liaison with Package Manager and HSSE and Safety personnel.
  • Supervise and manage the TRA study performed for FPSO.
  • Liaise with Package Manager and HSSE and Safety personnel regarding H3SE matters.
  • Define H3SE requirements to Contractors, review Contractors’ H3SE management systems, and control their implementation by conducting regular safety audits of Contractors on engineering sites, construction yards, offshore sites.
  • Collect and report H3SE statistics, analyze H3SE performance versus objectives, analyze incidents, perform investigations, organize feedback to management and personnel.
  • Ensure actions from reviews, audits, etc. (external and internal) are implemented and completed.
  • Assist Field Operations in the preparation of commissioning and start-up procedures.
  • Validate H3SE bridging documents for offshore works.
  • Ensure readiness of documentation necessary for Permitting/licensing related to H3SE matters, and follow-up issue by Authorities of related and necessary Permits/licenses.
  • Ensure adequate and timely reporting to the Package Manager.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all H3SE documentation produced (whatever its support).
  • Gather ‘lessons learnt’ and provide feedback to TotalEnergies entities as required.

Job description

NES Fircroft are delighted to be working with a market leading Oil & Gas Operator who are recruiting on behalf of their major project in Namibia.


Security, Safety, Societal and Environment matters for Venus FPSO Project during the Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction, Commissioning and Installation phases, in compliance with TotalEnergies and TEPNA policies, procedures and objectives, international standards and requirements.


The service holder is responsible for promoting H3SE in the project, for proposing H3SE objectives to the Package Manager and for providing H3SE advice to the Project Management and Project team.


The service holder is responsible for defining and reviewing H3SE management systems - Philosophy, Plans and Procedures – from Project & Contractors’, for ensuring that Project H3SE policies and procedures are properly implemented and achieved on the Project and for ensuring that the safety reviews are conducted in a timely and proper manner to comply with Project H3SE targets.


The service holder shall coordinate H3SE activities within the Package FPSO and, as such, shall liaise permanently with FPSO Package Manager and H3SE / Safety Leaders and Engineers within package FPSO. The service holder is, among others, responsible for the Safety Concept developed for the Package FPSO.


The service holder is also responsible for supporting and enforcing the Company Group Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and is also responsible for ensuring liaison for Security matters within the Project


Activities:
