Job summary

Allegheny Health Network's Department of Urology in Pittsburgh seeks a full-time Urologist with fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery to join our team.

The candidate will provide medical and surgical management for voiding dysfunction and pelvic prolapse, perform urodynamics, and participate in Robotic/Laparoscopic FPMRS procedures, with academic appointment possibilities through Drexel College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery completed.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology/FPMRS.
• Eligible for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical licensure.
• DEA certification and AHN staff privileges eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Medical and surgical management of complex voiding dysfunction.
• Medical and surgical management of pelvic prolapse.
• Urodynamics performance and interpretation.
• Management of pelvic disorders per fellowship training.
• General urology medical and surgical management to a limited scope.
• Robotics/laparoscopic procedures pertaining to FPMRS.
• Vaginal surgical procedures as per training.
• Involvement with Urology residency.
• Academic appointment through Drexel College of Medicine, if desired.
