RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks an experienced Electrical or Computer Engineer for the Microelectronics Technology team in Fort Wayne, IN. You will contribute to testbench design, implementation, and verification of high-performance ASICs and FPGAs for signal processing and information assurance.

The role requires SystemVerilog/OVM/UVM experience, RTL coding in VHDL/Verilog, testbench development, and the ability to work onsite. A STEM degree and U.S.

Qualifications

  • Degree in STEM with 2+ years of related experience.
  • U.S. citizenship and active security clearance required.
  • Experience with SystemVerilog, VHDL, Verilog.
  • Knowledge of chip-level verification techniques.
  • Familiarity with Git, Subversion.

Responsabilités

This position is for an experienced, motivated Electrical or Computer engineering candidate to beinvolved in the testbench design, implementation, and verification of a wide variety of high-performance digital ASICs and FPGAs applied to signal processing and information assurance products across Mission Systems on the Microelectronics Technology team.

This candidate would be located onsite in Fort Wayne, IN.

What You Will Do
  • Verification environment architecture and design usingSystemVerilogwith OVM/UVM
  • Creation of writtentest plan,testcases, code coverage tracking, and functional coverage tracking
  • Testbench development for the verification of RTL blocks using VHDL orSystemVerilog
  • Contribute to engineering estimates for new program pursuits.
  • Providetechnical leadershipfor projectverificationteamsby breaking down work, planning activities, and reporting status
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • RTL coding and simulation in VHDL or Verilog
  • Testbench development for the verification of RTL blocks using VHDL and/orSystemVerilog
  • Familiarity with best practice chip-level verification techniques and languages (e.g.constrained random, functional coverage,SystemVerilog)
  • Familiarity with revision control concepts and tools (e.g.Git,Subversion)
Qualifications We Prefer
  • ASIC / FPGA lab validation with advanced lab equipment
  • Design for Test (DFT) and manufacturability issues
  • Experience with Unix, scripting, C/C++, and/or Perl
  • Proficiencyusing ASIC and/or FPGA simulation and synthesis tools (e.g.Questasim,Synplify,Quartus,Vivado,orotherFPGA-specific tools)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision as a part of a team of engineers with a variety of skills and backgroundswhile beingmatrixed into projects with aggressive schedules and frequent milestones
  • Strong oral and written communication skillswiththe ability to document and present one's work and status

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
