Freeform is hiring an FPGA Engineer to build and deploy software systems powering autonomous metal 3D printing fabs. You will work on FPGA logic, signal processing, and embedded Linux interfaces, collaborating across teams to deliver high-performance control software for scalable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE, CS, or CE with relevant FPGA experience.
• Hands-on experience with Verilog or VHDL for FPGA designs.
• Experience with embedded Linux and SoC-based architectures.
• Nice to have: Xilinx Vivado/Vitis toolchains and FPGA development boards familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Developing new logic components for use on FPGAs
• Implementing custom algorithms on FPGAs for signal processing
• Implementing custom controllers on FPGAs
• Collaborating to develop embedded Linux applications to interface with FPGA logic components
• Packaging and using IP components in FPGA block diagram design
• Working on development boards and in production environments
