Job description

EXB Solutions is hiring an FPGA Engineer to support a design obsolescence update effort for custom avionics systems used in military and civil aircraft. You’ll work within a DO-254 framework to update and verify FPGA designs, ensuring long-term supportability of critical systems. Collaborate with a skilled team to develop code, simulations, testbenches, and documentation—contributing to traceability, testing, and analysis as part of a high-impact, full-lifecycle engineering effort.

Due to the nature of the project all applicants must be US Citizens or hold a Green Card. This role is remote and does not require onsite work.

The qualified candidate will possess the following skill sets:

Required Skills:

• System Verilog, UVM
• Xilinx toolset
• Simulation, debug, and root cause skills.
• Familiar with FPGA design flow
• Versed in industry standard simulation environment.
• Familiar with DO-254 DAL-A verification methodologies
• Must be self-motivated and have initiative to reach out an interact with the existing team
• Individual that has working knowledge of digital systems, and components, FPGA design methodologies, testing, debugging, root causing and testing methodologies.
