Job summary

Monte Sano Research Corporation (MSRC) in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a full‑time Hardware/Electronics Design Engineer to join our missile systems R&D team. The role focuses on FPGA-based hardware, mixed-signal circuits, and PCB layouts using CAD tools.

You will collaborate with software and systems engineers, support the full lifecycle of embedded hardware, write technical docs, and interact with customers while pursuing an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of embedded systems experience.
• Experience with HDL (Verilog/VHDL).
• Firmware development to interface with hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test FPGA-based systems.
• Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Utilize CAD software to perform schematic capture and layout PCBs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software and systems engineering.
• Support full lifecycle of embedded system: requirements analysis, designing, development, testing, and implementation.
• Write and present technical documentation as required.
• Multi-task amongst different projects and communicate with customers on a day-to-day basis.
