Job summary

Danta Technologies in Melbourne, FL seeks an FPGA Development Engineer with VHDL and DO-254 experience for a long-term onsite role. The candidate will work on aerospace-grade FPGA implementations, DSP blocks, and RF/communications systems, using Xilinx tools, MATLAB modeling, and hardware lab testing.

This position requires hands-on FPGA, Linux, and timing-closure expertise. Selected candidate will be paid at $60/hr on W2 and employed through Danta Technologies.

Qualifications

• Aerospace experience is required.
• FPGA hands-on experience is required.
• Strong VHDL FPGA development experience.
• DO-254 development experience is mandatory.
• DSP/digital signal processing implementation expertise.
• MATLAB modeling and simulation capabilities.
• Familiarity with ModelSim and Questa simulators.
• Linux development environment experience.
• Hardware lab testing and system integration experience.
• Timing analysis and timing closure knowledge.
• RF, SDR, radar, or communications systems experience.
• FPGA board bring-up and hardware debugging.

Responsibilities

• Perform FPGA development and verification for aerospace projects.
• Implement DSP algorithms in hardware and verify with simulation tools.
• Utilize Xilinx toolchains, ModelSim/Questa for validation.
• Conduct timing analysis to ensure meeting DO-254 requirements.
• Coordinate hardware bring-up, lab testing, and integration activities.
