Job summary

ENSCO Avionics is seeking a qualified FPGA Designer to work on a variety of projects including IV&V, reverse engineering, and design. The role requires deep HDL knowledge and CHDL verification skills, plus U.S. citizenship.

Position Overview

ENSCO Avionics is looking for FPGA Designers to work on a wide range of projects including IV&V, reverse engineering and design.

Responsibilities
  • Analyzing FPGA requirements and understanding the system.
  • Reviewing design and implementation to ensure proper requirement coverage.
  • Designing or reviewing tests and simulations to ensure proper verification of the system requirements.
Qualifications – Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with HDL code generation.
  • Hands‑on experience with CHDL simulation using Questa or a similar tool‑set.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Qualifications – Desired
  • Familiarity with the challenges of developing safety‑critical embedded firmware.
  • Familiarity with DO‑254 processes and means of compliance.
  • Experience writing HDL functional requirements and defining requirements‑based tests.
