What if your engineering skills could help scientists unlock the next generation of computing?
We're looking for talented FPGA Design Engineers to join an innovative technology company developing advanced hardware and software solutions for quantum computers.
The company designs specialized control and measurement systems that help researchers operate quantum computers, run experiments more efficiently, and improve the accuracy and reliability of quantum computing technologies.
With approximately 350 employees, including a strong R&D organization of around 150 specialists, the company offers an environment where engineering expertise, curiosity, and experimentation drive real innovation.
If you enjoy solving complex hardware challenges, working close to the technology, and contributing to products that push the boundaries of science, this could be your next challenge.
Design and develop FPGA-based solutions using SystemVerilog and RTL design.
Work with advanced FPGA platforms and tools, including AMD Vivado and AMD Versal.
Contribute to high-speed digital interfaces and complex hardware architectures.
Collaborate with verification engineers to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of FPGA implementations.
Work with C/C++ reference models to compare high-level models with FPGA logic implementations.
Support simulation, debugging, and verification activities using tools such as QuestaSim.
Use Python and/or TCL scripting to automate engineering workflows and improve development efficiency.
Contribute to innovative R&D projects, potentially involving standalone FPGA-based systems or new ASIC development.
Work closely with a dedicated, integrated engineering team and collaborate with specialists across logic design, verification, and modeling.
Core technical requirements:
Professional experience in FPGA design and digital hardware development.
Strong knowledge of SystemVerilog and RTL design.
Experience working with high-speed digital interfaces.
Hands-on experience with AMD Vivado and/or AMD Versal tools.
An analytical mindset and a structured approach to solving complex engineering problems.
A genuine interest in R&D, innovation, and advanced hardware technologies.
Confident English skills (upper-intermediate or higher) to collaborate effectively with an international team.
Experience developing C/C++ reference models.
Familiarity with simulation and verification tools such as QuestaSim.
Scripting skills in Python and/or TCL.
Exposure to ASIC development or hardware verification methodologies.
We're open to engineers at different stages of their professional journey:
Senior FPGA Design Engineer: 4+ years of professional experience.
Expert FPGA Design Engineer: 6+ years of professional experience.
Your project and responsibilities will depend on your technical background and experience.
You’ll join a highly technical R&D environment organized around three core engineering areas:
Logic Design – developing FPGA logic implementations.
Verification – ensuring the quality and correctness of hardware designs.
Modeling – building high-level C/C++ models to validate and compare against FPGA implementations.
The company is looking to build a dedicated engineering team that will be integrated into its organization. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate directly with the client’s engineers, contribute to technical decisions, and work in an environment that values ownership, curiosity, and research-driven thinking.
Fully remote work from Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, or Spain.
An opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge quantum computing technology.
A strong R&D culture with a significant engineering and research community.
Exposure to advanced FPGA platforms and potentially next-generation ASIC development.
Collaboration with international experts across hardware design, verification, and modeling.
A chance to work on technically challenging projects where your contribution can make a real difference.
