Job summary

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. in Pittsburgh is seeking FPGA Design Engineers to contribute to high-bandwidth signal processing products.

The full-time daylight position runs Monday to Friday 7:30am-3:30pm and requires local candidates in PITTSBURGH, PA. You'll design FPGA architectures, collaborate with hardware and software teams, implement 100Gigabit Ethernet and PCIe interfaces, and participate in the project lifecycle with clear milestones.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must possess a degree in Engineering or Science.
• Must have ability to meet eligibility requirements for security clearance.
• Must have ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• C, C++ programming, Python, Javascript, VHDL, Version control systems (e.g., git, svn)
• Familiar with Data Communication Network and associated Layer 2 and 3 protocols
• Shell scripting (Bash) and Unix command line
• Knowledge of protocols such as Ethernet, AXI4, Avalon, PCIe and SDI video
• Understanding of Static Timing Analysis and Timing Closure

Responsibilities

• Develop designs on the latest families of FPGA architectures.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers in the development of new products and features
• Design high bandwidth interfaces including 100Gigabit Ethernet and PCIe
• Create products with applications in wired and wireless communications
• Work as part of a technical team throughout the project life cycle to establish and adapt projects plans and milestones.
• Routine reporting on project progress and issues to internal stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to company policies and procedures
