RTX in Goleta, California is seeking a hands-on production technician to join our onsite team supporting cleanroom fabrication of focal plane arrays. The role requires attention to safety, ability to work in a class 100 environment, and precise handling of production hardware.

• Follow all written instructions and area protocols.
• Process Focal Plane Arrays (Hybridize, Wet Etch, Photomask, Fixturing, Hotplate processing, Surface treatment, Wire bond, metrology, Inspection etc.) to build hardware.
• Handle fragile hardware and manually manipulate small parts during processing.
• Rigorously follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Document data on travelers and in the electronic database.

1st Shift: 6AM – 2:30PM and negotiable in Goleta, California. This is an onsite position.

What You Will Do:

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
• Has experience in MS Office (Excel)
• US Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• More than 2 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
• Experience in Hybridization, Thin Film Deposition, Photolithography, Wet Etch, or other cleanroom Focal Plane Array, fabrication work cells.
• Ability to work safely with chemical and raw production material.
• The flexibility to work occasional, voluntary overtime on weekends to meet the factory’s needs is strongly desired.

• The hourly range for this role is $27- $32. The hourly range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our product
