RTX in Goleta, CA is seeking a Production Worker S3 for the Focal Plane Array area onsite. You will operate equipment and perform processes to build hardware, follow procedures, and document data in electronic tracking systems.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years in cleanroom production, experience with MS Office (Excel), and U.S. citizenship. We offer a safety-first environment with potential overtime and comprehensive benefits.

• Process Focal Plane Arrays (Hybridize, Wet Etch, Photomask, Fixturing, Hotplate processing, Surface treatment, Wire bond, metrology, Inspection etc.) to build hardware
• Handle fragile hardware and manually manipulate small parts during processing.
• Rigorously follow written procedures and work instructions
• Document data on travelers and in the electronic database

A Production Worker S3 in the Focal Plane Array (FPA) area operates equipment and performs processes to build hardware. They perform tasks to ensure that equipment and processes being used are in control. They focus on accurately performing single process steps on production hardware. They observe and utilize leads and senior operators to troubleshoot and resolve issues with production support teams. They take direction from area leads and supervision to optimize efficiency. They are required to rigorously documents processes performed in electronic tracking systems. Routine work is performed with minimal supervision.

1st Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM and negotiable in Goleta, California. This is an onsite position.

What You Will Do:

Qualifications You Must Have:

• High School Diploma or GED

Qualifications We Prefer:

• More than 2 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
• Experience in Hybridization, Thin Film Deposition, Photolithography, Wet Etch, or other cleanroom Focal Plane Array, fabrication work cells.
• Ability to work safely with chemical and raw production material.
• The flexibility to work occasional, voluntary overtime on weekends to meet the factory's needs is strongly desired.

The hourly range for this role is $27- $32 . The hourly range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
