Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs.

• Provide transportation to activities and meals.
• Support restorative plans for residents.
• Report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Make rounds to ensure safety and comfort.
• Process resident charges timely and accurately.

Carry out and assist residents in ADL’s2. Follow plan of care as outlined in residents individual care plan3. Document plan of care as required; vitals, weights, I&O, etc. as outlined by the nursing department4. Practice proper infection control protocols5. Documentation is completed timely and accurate6. Keep residents’ room clean and free of clutter7. Provide transportation to activities and meals as required8. Carry out resident’s individual restorative plans as documented9. Report all concerns, complaints made by the customer or their family to the appropriate person.10. Make rounds to assure residents are safe and comfortable11. Is efficient, minimizes overtime and processes resident charges timely and accurately12. Maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the department13. Participates in in-service education as required14.
