Job summary

Help At Home in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior FP&A Systems Analyst to own planning, budgeting, and reporting across the organization. You will administer PBCS/Hyperion, build scalable models, and partner with IT and finance to ensure accuracy and timely insights.

The role emphasizes dashboarding in Power BI, automation of Excel reporting, and developing controls. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in FP&A or financial systems are required, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of FP&A, financial systems, or reporting experience; prior team leadership preferred.
  • Hands-on experience administering PBCS/Hyperion or a comparable EPM platform required.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel; SQL or data modeling experience a plus.
  • Track record of building controls, standardizing processes, and driving automation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner with IT, finance, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Administer PBCS/Hyperion as FP&A system owner, incl. config, security, workflow, and metadata.
  • Define and manage FP&A data ownership, review protocols, and reconciliation standards.
  • Maintain FP&A models (Market, FSC, Consolidation) with cross-team collaboration.
  • Establish controls and cadences to safeguard data integrity across planning and reporting.
  • Lead dashboarding with Power BI and standardize reporting templates.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors on upgrades, integrations, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with Senior Financial Analyst on dashboard design and hands-on guidance.
  • Reduce manual Excel reporting and drive automation.
  • Set reporting standards and templates across FP&A.
  • Manage Reporting & Data Analytics Lead workload and career development.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
  • Serve as system administrator for PBCS (Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service), managing configuration, security, workflow, and metadata.
  • Define and manage FP&A data and system ownership, review protocols, and reconciliation standards.
  • Share ownership of and assist with maintaining FP&A models, including Market, FSC, and Consolidation tools, partnering with other teams involved to support accuracy and version control.
  • Establish controls and review cadences to safeguard data integrity across planning and reporting systems.
  • Partner with IT and system vendors on upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and issue resolution.
  • Own the standardized dashboard (Power BI), KPI view, and executive analytics strategy, bringing integrity, consistency, and accuracy to how metrics are defined, sourced, and reported.
  • Partner directly with the Senior Financial Analyst on Power BI dashboard design and development, reviewing builds and providing hands‑on guidance.
  • Own the roadmap to reduce manual Excel‑based reporting and reconciliation, directing automation efforts.
  • Set reporting standards and templates to ensure consistency across the FP&A organization.
  • Manage and develop the Reporting & Data Analytics Lead role, including workload prioritization and career development.
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
  • High proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel functions.
  • Ability to create executive‑level dashboards and presentations in PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, data analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of FP&A, financial systems, or reporting experience; prior team leadership preferred.
  • Hands‑on experience administering PBCS/Hyperion or a comparable EPM platform required.

Physical Requirements:
