Job summary

Chemical Abstracts Service is seeking a Finance/Accounting intern for Summer 2026 in Columbus, Ohio, to gain hands-on FP&A experience. The program immerses you in financial practices while expanding your professional network with CAS staff, specifically in forecasting and budgeting processes.

You will work with senior finance professionals, contribute to the financial plan, and learn long-range thinking in a collaborative, open environment at CAS headquarters.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting or related discipline.
• Some experience with Tableau, SAP, Salesforce or Workday.
• Strong communication, teamwork, leadership and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close reporting and correlation with forecast accuracy.
• Perform revenue and expense analysis to inform monthly forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create the financial plan and budget.
• Create process flows and mapping to improve financial processes.
• Develop understanding of long-range financial planning and strategy.
• Build relationships across the organization to enable effective cross-functional work.
