The Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for providing management with analysis and insights into Citi's financial results, in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to contribute to strategic direction and utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to advise on the evaluation of financial reports of Citi's current and projected performance.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the creation of Citi financial reports and liaise with finance teams to summarize financial trends and insights for senior management.
2. Lead analysis of forecasts, strategic and operating plans, and develop monthly outlooks in partnership with segment, business, and country FP&A teams.
3. Prepare analytics supporting CEO reviews, including business initiatives.
4. Analyze Citigroup's product profitability.
5. Develop relationships with key partners and senior management to influence decision-making.
6. Prepare presentations and analysis for the team and CFO support.
7. Assess risk appropriately in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, and managing control issues transparently.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant experience within financial services.
• Experience in financial analysis for forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of systems like Oracle, Essbase, and SAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's preferred.

Job Purpose:

This role supports the Balance Sheet Loans Wealth FP&A team, contributing to strategic planning and financial analysis related to Citi's lending products and wealth management segments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute analysis of strategic/operating plans, forecasts, and outlooks.
• Serve as a key contact for finance and business teams regarding lending products in Wealth.
• Analyze key Wealth Loans products and client segments.
• Consolidate product data for management reviews.
• Manage NII/NIR P&L and loans balance sheet planning and forecasting.
• Prepare documentation and reports, providing insights to senior management.
• Develop financial analyses for business initiatives.
• Collaborate on model development and convergence efforts.
• Build relationships across finance and business teams.
• Review and challenge inputs from various teams.
• Lead FP&A transformation and process improvements.
• Coordinate with teams across NY, Mumbai, and Costa Rica.
