About the Role:
Do you want to influence how the largest commercial real estate company in the world manages its business? If so, CBRE’s Advisory Finance Team is seeking a dynamic Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.
As a core part of the Advisory FP&A team, you'll be responsible for creating and reviewing the quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and month-end close processes for our global Leasing business. This role comes with full P&L responsibility and the opportunity to work closely with other finance teams to provide executive leadership with key financial insights.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who wants to go beyond basic reporting and has a desire to impact the business by thoroughly understanding the financials. You'll need to thrive in a fast-paced environment where pivoting and improving processes are key. While prior experience in commercial real estate isn't required, a strong desire to learn and grow in the industry is a must.
What You’ll Do:
Strategic Analysis & Modeling: Leverage strong financial acumen and advanced proficiency in financial systems and MS Excel to build complex financial models, interpret large data sets, and provide strategic recommendations that drive business results and value for CBRE.
Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to business partners. Collaborate closely with them, as well as with other Finance teams, to ensure accurate forecasting, understand key variances, and provide essential planning and analysis support with a goal of elevating the quality of all financial deliverables.
Reporting & Planning: Lead the consolidation of Leasing monthly financials. You'll be responsible for articulating the key drivers of performance and identifying areas of risk or opportunity during monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and planning cycles.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, and standardize financial processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. While working primarily within standardized procedures, you'll be empowered to find and implement solutions to improve them.
Perform a variety of ad hoc and structured financial analyses to inform critical business decisions and drive value.

Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or equivalent.
3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis.
Skilled with data manipulation and analysis.
Professional Power BI experience preferred.
Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
Ability to structure, plan, manage, and prioritize projects effectively.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
