Job summary

EverCommerce is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the finance team, supporting the home and field services software vertical. You will contribute to financial decision-making, partner with stakeholders, and own the vertical’s budgeting, long-range planning, and forecasts.

You will build revenue forecasts using key drivers, perform ROI analyses on growth initiatives, and maintain a forward-looking view to mitigate risks while delivering high-quality insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong FP&A background with 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience in SaaS or software verticals is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual budget, long-range plan, and recurring forecasts across revenue, gross margin, and operating expenses for a vertical.
• Track actuals vs. budget/forecast and provide actionable variance insights to leadership.
• Develop revenue forecasts using drivers like bookings, pipeline, retention, pricing, and ARPU.
• Evaluate ROI and business cases for initiatives, hiring, pricing changes and go-to-market programs.
• Maintain forward-looking view and mitigate risks or capture opportunities.

Job description

• We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our finance team and contribute to our continued growth and success. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting our home and field services software vertical, and involved in financial aspects of strategic decision-making
• This role involves partnering with various stakeholders to provide financial insights, support strategic financial modeling, and ensure alignment with the company’s financial goals
• Own the annual budget, long-range plan, and recurring forecasts across revenue, gross margin, operating expenses for a specific vertical
• Track actuals vs. budget/forecast/prior year, identify key drivers of variance, and provide actionable insights to vertical leadership
• Develop revenue forecasts using relevant operational drivers such as bookings, pipeline, customer count, retention/churn, pricing, volume, and ARPU
• Evaluate new initiatives, hiring requests, product investments, pricing changes, go-to-market programs, and other growth opportunities through ROI/business-case analysis
• Maintain a forward-looking view of upside/downside items and recommend actions to mitigate risks or capture opportunities
• Involved in other special projects as they arise
