Job summary

Phoenix Tailings in the United States is seeking an FP&A Manager to support and execute the company’s accounting and financial operations as we scale production. This role will maintain accurate financial records, support financial planning, and ensure disciplined financial execution across the business.

You will work on systems and processes that enable the company to operate, build, and grow. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, hands-on experience with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Experience with general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Experience supporting financial close processes and preparing financial statements.
• Familiarity with GAAP and basic accounting controls.
• Experience supporting audits and working with external accountants or auditors.
• Experience building or maintaining financial models for budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial or engineering settings.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation of financial statements.
• Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support implementation and enforcement of accounting policies and internal controls.
• Track revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures across projects and operations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking.
• Build and maintain financial models to support planning and decision-making.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and tax filings.
• Support project-based accounting tied to plant construction and operations.
• Assist with financial reporting and materials for fundraising and strategic initiatives.
