Job description

Artivo Surfaces is seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented FP&A Manager to own financial statement modeling, budgeting, and reforecasting across a fast-paced, growth-focused, multi-entity organization.

This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic private-equity-backed environment and enjoys translating complex financial data into actionable business insights. The FP&A Manager will play a key role in owning the annual budget and monthly reforecast processes, building and maintaining integrated financial statement models (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow), and delivering variance analysis that supports strategic decision-making across the business.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with operational curiosity, advanced Excel-based financial statement modeling capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with leadership teams across Finance, Operations, Sales, and IT functions. Familiarity with modern planning and analytics tools that improve forecasting accuracy and reporting cycles is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Reforecasting
  • Build, maintain, and enhance rolling financial forecasts, including monthly pacing and variance analysis.
  • Own end-to-end administration of the annual operating budget and monthly reforecast process, including planning calendars, templates, and consolidation of department and entity submissions into the enterprise plan.
  • Partner with department leaders to manage SG&A forecasting, cost center oversight, and spend optimization initiatives.
  • Evaluate business performance by comparing actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
  • Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the financial impact of key business assumptions and support long-range planning.
  • Build and maintain integrated three-statement financial models (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow) that support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Forecast balance sheet and cash flow drivers, including working capital, capital expenditures, and debt service.
  • Consolidate actual results, budgets, and forecasts across multiple ERP systems and legal entities into unified, enterprise-level financial statements and reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and executive-level financial summaries.
  • Develop clear and concise monthly close narratives that translate financial performance into leadership and board-ready insights within tight reporting timelines.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis and proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting financial performance.
  • Support EBITDA reporting and tracking, including add-back analysis and documentation.
  • Support development of key operational and financial metrics, including revenue pacing, margin analysis, productivity tracking, and trend analysis.
  • Assist with ad hoc financial modeling, strategic analysis, and special projects as assigned.
Process Improvement & Operational Support
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, IT, Engineering, and Finance teams to improve data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Thrive in a rapidly evolving private-equity-backed environment with shifting priorities and high visibility initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
  • 7+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical experience.
  • Demonstrated ownership of budgeting and reforecasting cycles, including consolidation across departments or entities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including integrated three-statement financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • ERP system experience required, including consolidating data across multiple ERP platforms in a multi-entity environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to link operational trends and analysis to financial results, forecasts, and business outcomes.
