Job summary

9amHealth is seeking an FP&A Manager to own end-to-end FP&A and drive financial decisions for the AI-enabled virtual specialty care platform. You will lead monthly close, long-range planning, driver-based models, and board narratives while partnering with Clinical Operations, Marketing, and Sales.

This role supports the 2026 financial roadmap and requires strong Excel, AI-enabled tools, and communication skills to translate business plans into actionable budgets and insights.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of FP&A experience in healthcare SaaS or subscription models.
• Ownership of budget cycles, board packs, and rolling forecasts.
• Driver-based financial modeling with three-statement proficiency in Excel.
• Familiarity with FP&A platforms: Abacum, Pigment, Mosaic, Anaplan.
• Strong partnership with non-finance stakeholders for commercial decisions.
• Understanding of unit economics in healthcare member economics.
• Proficiency using AI tools for modeling and automated processes.
• Experience with Looker/Tableau for data analysis and storytelling.
• Excellent written and visual communication skills.

• Manage monthly financial variance package with P&L, COGS, gross margin, and OPEX analysis plus narrative commentary.
• Develop and maintain driver-based financial models focusing on growth and costs.
• Collaborate with department heads to convert plans into resource-based budgets and validate assumptions.

Working within a dynamic Finance team, you will report to the Director of FP&A and collaborate closely with departments such as Customer Success, Clinical Operations, Marketing, and Sales. Your primary focus will be to drive financial decisions that support our AI-enabled virtual specialty care platform, ensuring effective management of high-cost chronic conditions.This position is crucial as the organization gears up to establish its long-term financial roadmap for 2026.
