Job summary

Alto-Shaam, Inc. is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to lead forecasting, reporting, and long-range planning. You will partner with operations and sales to analyze pricing, investments, and business performance, and to drive data-driven decisions across the finance function.

The role emphasizes building AI-enabled forecasting tools, dashboards, and self-service reporting while mentoring analysts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver timely insights for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years FP&A or corporate finance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to build and review formula-driven models.
• Experience with ERP/BI tools and AI-driven forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly forecast, variance analysis, and management reporting for VP and leaders.
• Support 3-5 year long-range plan and scenario modeling (capacity, pricing, capex).
• Partner with Commercial/Operations on pricing and investment cases (NPV/IRR).
• Mentor FP&A analysts and present insights to senior stakeholders.

Job Description

Alto-Shaam is a leading global manufacturer of commercial foodservice equipment, trusted by chefs and operators worldwide. As a fast-growing, privately held company Alto-Shaam is investing in building a modern finance organization that leverages new technology and AI to strengthen the speed and rigor of financial decision-making across the business. The FP&A Manager leads Alto-Shaam's forecasting, management reporting, and variance analysis processes while supporting long-range planning, pricing, and investment analysis across the business.

Financial Planning & Reporting

• Own the monthly forecast, variance analysis, and management reporting cycle, delivering timely, accurate insight to the VP and business leaders.
• Build and maintain the annual operating plan and rolling forecasts in partnership with the VP, FP&A.
• Maintain the integrity of financial reporting across Oracle, and the broader reporting environment, ensuring a single source of truth for the business.

Business Partnering & Planning Support

• Support the 3-5 year long-range plan and scenario modeling on capacity, pricing, and capital allocation.
• Partner with Commercial and Operations on pricing analysis and investment cases, including NPV, IRR, and payback for capital projects and new product initiatives.
• Act as a day-to-day finance partner to plant and functional leaders, translating financial results into clear, actionable recommendations.

Data, Analytics & Technology

• Drive adoption of AI-enabled tools and automation across forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround time.
• Build and maintain dashboards and self-service reporting using Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle FDI, Oracle PBC, and Claude.
• Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen data quality and scale with the business.

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Mentor and develop FP&A analysts, building bench strength and a strong data-and-analytics skill set across the team.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, and HR.
• Present financial analysis and recommendations clearly to the VP, FP&A and other senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA a plus.
• 8-10 years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience; manufacturing or industrial equipment industry experience preferred.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, with the ability to build and review models that are formula-driven, clearly structured, and free of hardcoded assumptions.
• Direct experience with modern ERP and BI platforms (Oracle Fusion Cloud, FDI, or comparable systems), including a demonstrated ability to drive adoption of new tools.
• Proven use of AI and automation tools to improve forecasting, reporting, or analysis, with specific examples to discuss rather than general familiarity with the concept.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis clearly to senior leaders.
• A proactive, results-oriented professional who takes ownership of problems, moves quickly, and is motivated to grow with a scaling finance function.
• Experience mentoring or developing junior analysts preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
