Job summary

Finatal is seeking an FP&A Manager in Dallas, TX, a private-equity-backed services business with 70+ locations and ~1,400 employees. You will partner with the CFO and act as a strategic finance lead, owning forecasting, budgeting, modeling, and performance analysis while helping to build out the FP&A function.

The role reports to the CFO, offers high visibility, and requires experience in fast-paced PE-backed settings with executive exposure.

Qualifications

• Current FP&A Manager or Senior FP&A Manager with progressive finance experience.
• 7–10 years of finance experience.
• PE-backed environment experience preferred; IB/consulting background valued.
• Experience in services, manufacturing, or distribution.

Responsibilities

• Own forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling for the business.

FP&A Manager | Private Equity-Backed Services Business | Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Finatal is partnering with a leading private equity-backed, multi-site services business to appoint a FP&A Manager supporting the next phase of growth and value creation.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a highly visible leadership opportunity within a business approaching $500M in revenue, operating across 70+ locations with more than 1,400 employees. The company continues to invest in operational excellence, strategic acquisitions, and scalable finance infrastructure.

The Opportunity

As FP&A Manager, you'll serve as a key strategic finance partner to senior leadership, working directly with the finance leader as their right-hand person. This role will own core FP&A activities while helping drive decision-making, improve financial visibility, and support the continued growth of a PE-backed business.

You'll have significant exposure to leadership and the broader business, with responsibility across forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, performance analysis, and strategic initiatives. You'll also manage a junior analyst and play an important role in continuing to build out the FP&A function.

We're Looking For

• Current FP&A Manager, Senior FP&A Manager, or similarly positioned finance professional
• Approximately 7–10 years of progressive finance experience
• Investment banking or consulting experience strongly preferred
• At least one role within a PE-backed business
• Experience within services, manufacturing, or distribution highly relevant
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and business-partnering capabilities
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment with significant executive exposure
