Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) offers a 12-week paid FP&A internship in Fargo, ND, within the Finance team. You will perform financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to support business decisions and partner with cross-functional teams on process improvements and automation initiatives.

As an intern, you will participate in monthly close activities, build financial models, conduct variance analysis, and prepare management reports while reporting to the Sr. Manager of Finance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Excel and Office applications is a plus

Summer Internship Program

The program is a 12-week paid internship immersive experience that provides functional learning working on robust and challenging project work, Executive and Senior leadership engagement, and exposure to Danaher Business System fundamentals. The program culminates with a report-out presentation to leaders from the organization. After successful completion of the program, interns will be considered to return as a full-time associate upon graduation.

The FP&A Intern will support the Finance team in providing financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to help drive business decision-making. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to analyze financial performance, identify process improvement opportunities, and support automation initiatives. The intern will assist with monthly close activities, financial modeling, variance analysis, and the preparation of management reports. This position offers valuable exposure to business operations, strategic planning, and financial analysis within a dynamic organization. This position is part of the Finance Department located in Fargo, ND and will be on-site. You will be a part of the FP&A team and report to the Sr. Manager of Finance responsible for budgeting, forecasting, monthly/quarterly close activities, variance analysis, and delivering executive-ready insights.

Key Requirements

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• OneStream or other financial systems

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The hourly rate for this role is $28.00/hr. This is the rate that we in good faith believe is the rate of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This rate may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
