Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a motivated FP&A Financial Analyst on the Corporate FP&A team in the United States. You will develop monthly forecasts and annual budgets, and prepare planning reports by collecting and analyzing data and trends.

Role requires advanced Excel skills, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment. We offer a comprehensive rewards package and remote work options.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business or Economics.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively interact with colleagues at all levels.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
  • Collaborate mindset to enable effective partnership with Field FP&A Team and business.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development of monthly forecasts and yearly budgets.
  • Prepare financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
  • Update financial databases by entering, verifying and securing data.
  • Support month-end close process with standard and ad-hoc performance reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver consolidated reports and presentations to management for decision support.
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly and annual outlooks, highlighting variances, risks and opportunities.

A day in the life.

As a FP&A Financial Analyst on the Corporate FP&A team, you'll assist in the development of monthly forecasts and yearly budgets. Prepare financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends. Update financial databases through entering, verifying and securing data. Assist in month end close process by preparing recurring, standard and ad-hoc business performance reporting. Prepare and deliver consolidated reports, presentations and communication to management with the intention of eliciting critical decision support. Analyze monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and planning outlooks, highlighting material variances, risks and opportunities, and range of outcomes.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $69,400 to $121,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. We are excited to offer a competitive total rewards package which includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401K savings and other retirement programs as well as employee assistance programs.
