Job summary

Aspida is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst to support FP&A with expense governance, budgeting, and reporting. This role is onsite at our Durham, NC headquarters, collaborating with finance and department leaders to ensure spending aligns with budgets and policies.

You will develop and distribute variance analyses, monitor spending trends, and contribute to monthly and quarterly finance reporting. A finance-related bachelor’s degree and 1+ years in a similar role are required, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration.
• 1+ years of financial analysis, corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or related role.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, or financial modeling preferred.
• Experience translating financial data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Support FP&A with expense governance, reporting, and analysis.
• Prepare weekly AP and spending reports and monitor trends.
• Develop quarterly department expense analyses and explain variances.
• Perform ad hoc analyses on operating expenses, vendor activity, and budgets.
• Create reports and dashboards to improve visibility into expenditures.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A reporting.
