Job summary

Kforce is partnering with a client in the St. Louis area to hire a Director of FP&A. This leadership role oversees budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, executive reporting, strategic planning, and business decision support while managing an FP&A team and partnering closely with executive leadership.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in FP&A or related fields, a strong track record leading teams, and advanced Excel/Microsoft Office skills. MBA is a plus and relocation may be considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, investment banking, or corporate finance experience.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and priorities.
• Experience supporting strategic decision-making in a fast-growth environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; FP&A tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Develop financial reporting, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Build financial models and perform strategic analyses.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities with operational leaders.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes with Accounting.
• Provide financial insights to drive informed decisions.
• Manage and mentor the FP&A team and cross-functional initiatives.
