Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Director of FP&A to own budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for its portfolio of independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities. You will partner with VP Finance, community operators, and the capital team to drive occupancy, expenses, and care quality through actionable insights.

You will lead a team, develop scalable reporting tools, and shape the long-term FP&A roadmap as the portfolio grows, ensuring robust financial governance and strategic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Eight or more years of accounting/financial analysis experience, including at least three years managing a team.
• Extensive experience with complex Excel modeling.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or multi-site hospitality/real estate operations is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to present to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close review, variance analysis, and management reporting across all communities.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership in clear narratives.
• Collaborate with operations to drive labor efficiencies and budgeting on labor hours.
• Build scalable, self-service reporting and dashboards for real-time performance visibility.
• Oversee standardized reporting templates and financial controls across the portfolio.
• Underwrite acquisitions and development projects to support growth.
• Develop FP&A team and mentor analysts to scalable structure.
