Job summary

Eastman, a global specialty materials leader headquartered in Kingsport, TN, seeks an experienced FP&A professional to steward forecasting, budgeting, and monthly close analyses. You will translate numbers into clear narratives for senior leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost, margin, and unit economics insights.

You will build robust financial models, support long-range planning, and partner with corporate and segment finance teams to improve planning processes.

Qualifications

• ~5 years of progressive finance experience across FP&A, corporate finance, or related areas.
• Experience in manufacturing or industries such as chemicals, industrials, or CPG is preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel capability with clear, fact-based recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills to convert analyses into concise narratives and slides.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, MBA/CPA/CMA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Steward FP&A cycles: forecasting, budgeting, and monthly close analyses.
• Translate analysis into leadership-ready narratives and slides for senior leaders.
• Analyze cost, margin, and unit economics focusing on inventory and absorption.
• Collaborate with finance leadership on long-range planning and project modeling.
• Partner with corporate finance and segment teams to improve planning processes.
• Develop subject matter depth in corporate finance with practical business insights.
