About the role
As a FP&A Business Partner at Acast, you will play an integral role within the finance team, providing crucial financial insights to support strategic decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will encompass data analysis, opportunity identification, and the management of budgeting and forecasting processes. You will collaborate with various business units to help achieve budgetary and profitability targets. While the role requires hands-on involvement, we are seeking a self-stating candidate with strong growth potential to advance alongside the company's expansion. Although our finance team is primarily based in Stockholm, this role is situated in New York or its vicinity, with a requirement to commute to our Manhattan office at least three days a week.

Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 annually

What you´ll do

  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a financial business partner to key stakeholders and P&L owners, providing critical insights and analysis to inform decision-making.

  • Financial Analysis: Deliver comprehensive internal decision support through robust financial analysis, insights, and reporting.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for designated areas, ensuring alignment with overall financial goals.

  • Budget Achievement: Collaborate with responsible managers to meet budgetary and profitability objectives.

  • Financial Closing: Support the monthly closing process, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial statements.

  • Performance Analysis: Analyze profit and loss (P&L) statements and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance.

  • Financial Reporting: Conduct detailed reporting of financial performance, providing clear and actionable insights.

  • Sales Commissions: Calculate sales commissions and identify opportunities for optimization.

  • Financial Projects: Participate in financial development projects, offering recommendations for process improvements.

Who you are

  • Experience: Extensive experience in an international environment as a Business Controller, Business Analyst, or in Financial Planning and Analysis.

  • Education: A relevant academic degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.

  • Skills: Proficient in Excel, with strong analytical abilities and a solid understanding of business operations. Excellent communication skills and experience with Business Intelligence tools.

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in media, advertising, and technology sectors is advantageous.

Attributes: Curiosity and a propensity for rapid learning are essential.
