Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Associate in Planning and Analysis in Newark, DE. You will coordinate budgeting and forecasting, and prepare management reports and presentations for Operating Committee and Board-level audiences.

You will create and refine financial models, analyze variances, and deliver insights across multiple business lines while partnering with senior stakeholders to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Self-starter in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting.
• At least 3 years of FP&A experience in financial services.
• Sound judgment, professional maturity, integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks; priorities change frequently.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, management, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase, Visual Basic and macros.
• Ability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentations and recommendations.
• Detail oriented and able to handle multiple projects; team player who asks questions and thinks strategically.
• Able to build partnerships, learn quickly, and adapt to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between FP&A, lines of business, and finance teams to provide reporting, planning and insightful analyses.
• Produce presentations, analyses and materials for senior management; support ad-hoc projects.
• Develop, consolidate and present financial analyses including annual budgets and quarterly/monthly forecasts.
• Create, maintain and review financial models and analyses (recurring and ad-hoc).
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on key issues to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with partners across FP&A, lines of business, and firm to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders across the firm.
