Job summary

CrossCountry Consulting is expanding its Private Equity practice and seeking an Associate Director to lead FP&A delivery, partner with CFOs and plant leaders, and drive value-creating financial and operational improvements across portfolio companies.

You will build and refine financial models, dashboards, and forecasts, mentor junior staff, and play a key role in business development with PE sponsors.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in FP&A and/or restructuring/turnaround in PE-backed environments.
• Proven track record partnering with CFOs, COOs and plant leaders.
• Strong modeling, analytics and dashboarding skills with Excel, Power BI/Tableau; SQL/Alteryx; EPM tools a plus.
• Manufacturing cost expertise: standard costing, variance analysis, PPV/commodity tracking, working-capital optimization.
• Ability to drive MBR/QBR cycles, S&OP tie-outs, and executive-ready value creation materials.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and problem-solving in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Stand up and mature FP&A function at portfolio companies; align cadences to production and S&OP.
• Build multi-year operating and cash flow models; incorporate SKU/margin waterfalls and capex plans.
• Design dashboards/scorecards linking plant metrics to revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, and cash.
• Lead cash flow forecasting and liquidity modeling; support covenant dynamics.
• Integrate demand, supply, capacity plans into financial forecasts; size working-capital opportunities.
• Develop business cases for automation and capex governance; mentor juniors.
