United Airlines is seeking a finance-focused professional for an early-career role supporting the Managing Director and Director. You will help ensure accurate financial data booking, create budgets and forecasts, and support long-term planning with modeling and scenario analyses.

The role involves collaboration with division leadership, contract negotiations, and reporting on headcount and productivity, with opportunities to contribute to revenue initiatives and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years of related finance or business admin experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 2-4 years with HS degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of accounting and financial statements.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Interview required to meet qualifications.
• Reliable, punctual attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Managing Director and Director as the business partner to various departments.
• Deliver department strategy for accurate budgeting and forecasting.
• Utilize models to generate annual operating plans and long-term forecasts.
• Provide variance analysis and explanations to leadership and Finance Division.
• Support contract and purchasing negotiations and headcount/productivity tracking.
• Identify and aid in revenue and cost initiatives.
• Prepare routine reporting and ad hoc analyses for division and finance teams.
