Job summary

Airspace, a Carlsbad-based freight-forwarding tech company, is hiring an FP&A Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis across a scaling business with multiple subsidiaries.

This entry-level-to-mid role reports to the Director of FP&A, offering ownership, data-driven decision support, and growth as the finance team expands. Hybrid in Carlsbad or remote options available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related analytical role.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related quantitative field.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills, including large data sets and auditable models.
• Exposure to NetSuite and an HRIS/payroll system like Rippling is a plus.
• Comfort building board- and executive-level slides in PowerPoint/Google Slides.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly internal financial reviews (budget vs. actual variance analyses).
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting for the Board of Directors.
• Support monthly investor reporting.
• Maintain internal and external-facing long-term financial models.
• Own monthly compliance reporting.
