Job summary

Thermon Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly analytical FP&A Analyst in Austin to support a project-based business, partnering with Project Management, Operations, Sales, and Engineering to improve forecasting accuracy and profitability.

You will develop dashboards, manage monthly forecasts, assist with budgeting, and provide leadership with clear financial insights across the project lifecycle. This role offers exposure to revenue recognition and cash flow planning within a global industrial

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
Professional certification (MBA/CPA/CMA) is a plus.
3–7 years in FP&A, project finance, or related analytic finance roles.

Responsibilities

Analyze project portfolio performance across customers, regions, and models.
Develop dashboards and KPIs to provide leadership with actionable insights.
Prepare and maintain monthly forecasts for revenue, gross profit, and cash flow.
Support annual budgeting and long-range planning processes.
Monitor project backlog, revenue recognition, and project reporting.
Identify drivers of profitability and actions to improve margins.
