Job summary

Our client, a leading global entertainment company, is seeking a Financial Analyst on a 5-6 month contract to join their team in Midtown Manhattan. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with strong FP&A and analytical requirements.

Ideal candidates will manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, delivering insightful financial analyses and robust models for senior leadership. Onsite schedule is Monday–Friday, 9AM–6PM, with a lunch break.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of corporate finance, FP&A, financial planning or analysis experience.
• Media/entertainment industry experience preferred.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and variance analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Experience with reporting/analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for assigned business areas.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
• Develop and maintain financial models, reporting tools, and ad hoc analyses.
• Monitor operating expenses and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support planning and reporting.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities.
