Job summary

AMPI is seeking a finance-focused professional to support FP&A activities, develop budgets and forecasts, and deliver timely reporting for executive leadership. The role emphasizes dashboards, data analysis, and process improvements across manufacturing finance functions.

You will collaborate with IT and business units, build financial models, and present insights to drive strategic decisions. A 3–5 year background in FP&A and strong Excel/Power BI skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, manufacturing finance, operations finance, or corporate finance.
• Food, dairy, consumer products, or manufacturing experience a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills including pivot tables, charts, and formulas.
• Experience with ERP systems, including extracting data, developing Microsoft Power BI reports, dashboards, and macros.
• Financial modeling experience.
• Experience with Oracle/JDE, SQL, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
• Experience utilizing business intelligence, reporting automation, and emerging AI-enabled productivity tools to improve financial analysis and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis in budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
• Provide timely reporting and analysis of results to facilitate decision-making toward budget and strategic goals.
• Prepare and analyze monthly Board and Executive Leadership financial reporting packages.
• Prepare reports and dashboards in Power BI and other tools.
• Maintain financial models and templates for accuracy and efficiency.
• Serve as a primary financial resource for assigned business units with actionable recommendations.
• Lead monthly financial statement analysis including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, variance and trend analysis.
• Prepare financial reports, charts, tables, and exhibits as requested.
• Assist facilities with creating analysis tools or models.
• Lead special projects to improve process efficiency and performance.
• Drive integration of processes, people, and tech to improve decision making.
• Identify non-value-added processes and opportunities for performance improvements across the organization.
• Drive reporting automation and data visualization enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to improve reporting systems and data integrity.
• Work with auditors and provide required information.
• Other duties as assigned.
